JOEL KAMM
Founder
Joel Kamm is a problem solver who loves a design challenge. With a background in retail and FMOT (first moment of truth) design at Gillette, Procter & Gamble, New Balance, Velcro, Staples, and iRobot, his favorite projects start with a small space and defined limitations. Working with the belief that mobile retail can only truly succeed with a purpose-built unit designed from the ground up, Joel decided to do just that. As the founder and CEO of Flexetail, Joel has designed and built a fleet of mobile shops, removing the obstacles of traditional brick and mortar retail. Working with a wide range of partners such as Gillette, the Boston Bruins, and Hydrow, Flexetail offers flexible space and the freedom of mobility.
Joel’s education and professional background in business, art, and design made him uniquely positioned to dream up the idea of the mobile tiny unit. But it was his core belief – let’s make things better, because we can – that pushed him to start Flexetail.
